Romania Launches Institutional NFT Platform for Public and Private Sectors
Romania is doubling down on web3 with an institutional NFT platform. The platform is developed by Romania’s National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest).
“Our institute wants to create a bridge between the young generations and the public institutions’ values, initiating a comfort zone for the interactions with the digital space,” said Dr Mihnea Gheorghe, Director General of ICI Bucharest.
Mastercard Teams Up with Aptos Labs to Create Web3 Identity Framework for Apps
Mastercard is creating a web3 identity solution for apps. The identity and verification framework is created in collaboration with Aptos Labs and other web3 partners.
Mastercard Crypto Credentials framework is created to build trust between web2, web3 and businesses, bringing the benefits of decentralisation to the masses.
Google Cloud Announces a Multi-Faceted Partnership with Polygon Labs
The company already counts Ethereum and Solana on its list of supported blockchains in its blockchain node engine, but its collaboration with Polygon is far more expansive.
Commenting on the partnership, Ryan Wyatt, president of Polygon Labs said: “Google Cloud supporting all of the Polygon protocols is a step in the right direction to help onboard more people into Web3.”
Robinhood Crypto Introduces Connect to Simplify Web3 Access
Robinhood Crypto has introduced a new payment feature called Connect. It allows users to fund their wallets without leaving dApps or being in their Robinhood Crypto accounts. The feature will initially be available on Phantom and Exodus web3 wallets.
“Crypto and Web3 have the potential to change the future of the financial system for the better, but we recognize there are still significant hurdles preventing broader adoption,” said Johann Kerbrat, GM of Robinhood Crypto.

Trump NFTs Exceed $9M in 90-Day Sales Volume After Series Two Launch
In the past seven days, the second series of the Trump Digital Trading Cards collection accounted for about a third of the total Polygon NFTs sales volume on OpenSea, with $2.23 million against $6.35 million.
The NFT marketplaces on Polygon witnessed the highest number of daily sales in the last 60 days.
A record high of daily Bitcoin Ordinals inscriptions with 99,687 inscriptions in a single day.
